Australia bringing Wrangler back like it's 1976. Usually when I think of Wrangler, I think of cowboy shirts and rancher jeans, however, Wrangler Australia managed to pull a blast from the past and I'm lusting over here in Los Angeles. Despite the fact that the stereotype for sunny Southern California is cut-off jeans and bikini tops, I think that the general approval of booty revealing is far less appreciated than in Australia. A few of my favorite designers from down under feature rear-revealing and side-butt view bottoms such as One Teaspoon and Mink Pink. As I like to say, if you got it flaunt it.

In case you have been living under a rock the past six months or so, 70's madness is the current inspiration for several designers this season. Considering the 1970's is the first decade I would take my time machine to (2nd would be the 1960's) if I had the opportunity, I could not be more pleased with the latest trends. I am absolutely in love with the Freja Beha editorial shot by Terry Richardson. I have been inkling to do a retro 70's shoot and will definitely resort to those photos as my number one inspiration.

bohemian rhapsody

Absolutely loving Free People's new catalog. I have always been a sucker for crochet and lace. The tan crochet bralette and the lace fringed caftan are to die for. I would have not hesitated in getting a hold of that bralette, minus the small problem I suffer (and I mean small): mosquito bites wouldn't have cut it in that bad boy.

If I won the lottery today...

Opening Ceremony, you are KILLIN' it with all these fab rags and kicks! I am infatuated with so many of their Spring Products. It's that late '60's feel to much of the stuff that gained my attention, and love for that matter. I will always be drawn to anything with a South Western print or hippy chic aura, like the Italian rug looking coat by Rodarte for OC and the fringe crochet top's. And I cannot fail to mention the funky platforms and the lip dress. As you may come to notice, much of my wardrobe consists of loud, bizarre, eye-capturing pieces. I'm a sucker for a good piece of art, if you want to hear it metaphorically speaking.

Yeah, if I won the lottery today, these items would definitely be my first priority purchase.

I'm not a gold kind of gal.

Though I am not completely opposed to the idea, I try to stay away from gold as much as possible. You can only have so much of it on before you start looking like a cheap rapper or chola. But with silver, you can pile on as much as you want, wear as gaudy of a piece as you would like, and still look absolutely rad. I became obsessed with Pamela Love's and Australian model Nicole Trunfio's Spring 2011 collections when they were released last year. While I spend money carelessly on things that are justifiable, I don't see myself spending over 500 bones on a piece of silver jewelry. Fortunately for you gals like myself, Nicole's collection is a little more within reach though most of it is sold out. To lust or purchase some of these amazing pieces, go HERE
