Last summer, I remember being fixated on a pair of stars and stripes shorts, straight out of the 80's. They were at this vintage clothing store that I worked for, but the company used them for styling, so there was no way I could have gotten my hands on them. When I saw UNIF's SS/11 look book, I saw the company as my savior. Thanks to Nasty Gal, I was able to add the America shirt to my wardrobe.
There is just something so intriguing about such an unflattering, loud, and tacky print. It is definitely the fact that it's so tacky that makes it amazing.. like wearing combat boots with floral dresses. Well fortunately for all of us, several designers this SS/11 are coming through to help get my flag fix as well as all you other gals who have been waiting to get their 1990's fancy tickled.
